WhatsApp, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, are killing creativity
WhatsApp,
Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, are killing creativity
WhatsApp, Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram are killing
creativity; yes they are.
The dictionary meaning of creativity is to express oneself and their ideas in a new way and use imagination to create something new.
Now if we keep on doing one same thing for hours and hours;
we all know social media is an addiction, then when do we get time to imagine?
To think new and innovative? We don’t get time to explore our brain, its
capability because all that gets exhausted.
Youngsters keep scrolling through their social media feeds,
keep on chatting and leave no time for creativity. We all know T.V is called an
idiot box but I believe mobile phones are more into making people dunderheads. The "ping" of the notification makes us so eager that we leave all our work and go after it.
Just imagine yourself doing one same thing for a whole day
that too of no benefit, will you be left in a situation to do something else?
With WhatsApp, Snapchat and other social networking sites, we don’t talk to people, we talk to faces. We no more socialize, read or empower our brain to think. It has got so associated with our lives that we have stopped reading books and have lost all creativity.
Another hampering aspect of social media is that it refrains you to think. It stops you to see what’s going around. It makes you think just like a horse moves; straight. Again no role of creativity.
Social media hampers the brain even. When you don't get the expected number of likes or views, its obvious for you to get irritated. But there are some who got so annoyed that they even committed suicides.
By social media, you don’t socialize, but get into a
world far away from the real one.
I totally agree with ur point...but I think social media also has some merits... But getting addicted to social media it is not good.

That is true. People are obsessed with social media to the point that they don't even know when and where all their precious time is going.
