A Day In Village
A day in Village We planned a holiday to a village near our city. I had never been to village so was quite excited. We prepared the entire road map to village that included bus, Tonga and a long distance walk. Next morning we woke up at 4am and got ready by 6 to catch the bus. It took us around 2 hours to reach Pakhli. There we took a Tonga and headed our way towards Basri. In about an hours’ time we reached Basri. The way to village is an alley, three kilo meters away from Basri, so pedestrian walk was the only option. It took around an hour to reach the village. As we reached, we had sugarcane juice and locally available snacks. We took some rest and thereupon outset for a jaunt on a bullock cart, enjoyed the sweet-smelling, fresh air , saw clean muddy roads, farmland studded with maize, men and women working in fields, village post office, hospital, panchayat, school and a lot many things that were a way different from city.
