Inventions-Rural Minds!!
“Necessity is the
mother of invention” when there is a need for something and it’s difficult
to workout, inventions and innovations take place, people tend to find ways,
either with resources or without resources. There are instances to this- A
girl, Remya Jose, invented a leg powered washing machine to help her mother wash
clothes, Raghav Govda, invented a machine to easily milk cattle.
In a country like India where the population is so high,
majority can’t afford to buy high priced products but we can’t skip the
requirements. Farmers who plough the fields can’t afford a tractor. People in
the villages don’t have hospitals in vicinity, face water scarcity, electricity
problems etc. These are day to day problems and here comes the need to invent.
Today, we live in 21st
century and we all use technology. Nowadays, no one can imagine life without
smartphone but what about those who have never seen electricity? Today children
are given analytical approach to learning but what about those who have never
been to schools? These people have requirements. This requirement encourages
them to do something, at least to fulfil their basic needs. Mansukhbhai
Prajapati, a potter, invented mitticool, a
refrigerator made of clay which naturally cools items; this way he catered his
basic need and invented something that is beneficial for the society as well.
There are a lot of inventions that happen gradually but only
few of them are recognized. We can’t stop appreciating Indian brains. We don’t have
education like abroad still the kind of approach and thought process by our
countrymen is commendable. Rural residents and slum dwellers have got no or
very little resources and have made such things that have not been invented. These
people if given proper education and training can transform the world into a
highly advanced one.
Its an implacable write up. Keep improving.
ReplyDelete"Necessity is the mother of invention" because you have two stark choices when you find yourself in a really desperate situation. You can either fold and cave-in to it or you can become really passionate about getting out of it.
