Actions Speak Louder than Words

-Abraham Lincoln

“Actions speak louder than words” this typically means that you are recognized by your behavior and not by what you say. A person is defined by his character rather than what he speaks; he might fake his sayings but he can’t fake his personality. If he is uncivilized, he can’t act courteous, if he is a moron, he can’t act brainy.

The way we behave inculcates in our personality and it becomes a habit. The way we react to situations shows our attitude and the way we communicate shows our intellectuals. It is well said that “Watch your actions, they become your habits”.

Our actions actually speak a lot. Take the example of ROSA PARKS. She was an Afro-American lady who denied to offer her seat to a white passenger. It were her actions which led to such a big civil rights movement and helped lakhs of Afro-Americans.

It is necessary to have self-control. The way we behave creates a perception in other’s mind. This means that the way we react becomes his habit to see us. So it is important to create a good image.

There are instances where people might become a hindrance and lead to your deterioration. They might ignore you, hate you, not praise you for your work but it’s necessary in life to keep going on. Never let other’s actions take over you.

“Your words will tell others what you think. Your actions will tell them what you are”
